Arc Flash Explosion
It’s an unfortunate way to reiterate that you can never underestimate the danger of arc flash:
Gersowitz Libo & Korek P.C. (GLK), a leader among personal injury firms in the New York area, recently settled a case for $2.5 million involving an electrical arc flash explosion resulting in serious injuries to their electrician client.
GLK prepared for the trial of this case by commissioning an electrical expert to locate an “identical exemplar” for illustrative purposes for the jury. This was a key piece of evidence which helped demonstrate that the 80-year old box was the cause of the electrical arc flash.
