Maximizes the Dependability of Motors, Generators, and Transformers

Our Power Services division possesses the most advanced high-voltage cable test system available. This system is suitable for testing cables, capacitors, and electrical equipment, enabling our Power Service technicians to detect insulation defects before cables fail while in service.


Using this testing system, our technicians are capable of finding weak cables via the variable frequency VLF output. This test set allows users to select dual polarity DC and cable jacket or sheath testing output modes. Our high-voltage measuring system allows us to thoroughly test and evaluate cables.


Our high-voltage measuring system has the following features:

  • One cycle taken every 10 seconds
  • Maximum voltage of 44kVrms
  • True sine wave low frequency output
  • Capable of testing 1µF (approx. 30,000 ft of cable) at 0.1Hz and 60kV peak
  • Fully automatic or manual
