FAG H140 Universal Bearing Design for Paper Mills

The H140 Universal Design sets FAG apart from the rest of the bearing industry by transforming its standard spherical roller bearing into a universal design for use in multiple applications.

This new design allows paper mills more flexibility and efficiency. Rather than having to inventory numerous bearings with slightly differently design modifications, they’ll be able to stock the H140, therefore lowering inventory, controlling cost and costly downtime.

Design Features

The H140 Universal Bearing Design for paper mills packages a number of modifications into a single spherical roller bearing for the paper industry. The H140 design includes such features as:

  • Circumferential lubrication grooves and six lube holes in the inner ring
  • Circumferential lubrication grooves and three lube holes in the outer ring
  • Aluminum plugs for all lube holes to allow for hydraulic removal
  • Inner and outer ring markings on the highest points of runout
  • Greater running accuracy
