About Us
Roots for the present day L&S Electric were planted in the 1930s when motor repair shops Leverence Electric and Snapp Electric were founded. Although the two operations were direct competitors, that competition ceased with their 1983 merger to form L&S Electric. With that merger, L&S quickly found its place as a local industry leader. Since then, our company has tripled in size and continues to focus on growth to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Today, we serve clients throughout the midwestern United States from eleven locations - including five rotating apparatus repair centers and eight distribution centers. In addition, through our Engineering Division and subsidiary company, L&S Electric of Canada, Inc., we serve clients throughout the United States, Canada, Asia, Central and South America, and Europe. Our clients include businesses involved in pulp and paper production; paper converting; electric power generation; iron and copper mining; agriculture and food processing; rail and water transportation; iron foundries; and industrial manufacturing. From two small service centers to the diverse business we are today, L&S Electric remains focused on providing quality service with a personal touch. At L&S we are a family and we extend that relationship to our customers. |
