GE is applying their power conversion expertise to help improve process efficiency, infrastructure reliability, and environmental friendliness.
Their claims are based on replacing a typical 75 kW 1800 RPM Pre-EPAct/Eff3 electric motor (rewound once) with GE’s X$D Ultra 841 IEC. These electric motors come standard with a five-year warranty (60 months operational/66 months from shipment date).
The X$D Ultra 841 IEC electric motor meets or exceeds IE3/NEMA Premium® nominal efficiencies and exceeds all IEC/NEMA Premium minimum guaranteed efficiencies.
